Is Brinkz Natty? (Does He Take Steroids?)

It seems the best way to start rumors is to become a famous fitness influencer.

In this case, I’m talking about the Brinkz steroid rumours that have been circulating online.

While anabolic steroid use is widespread in the bodybuilding industry, I find that making such claims without any substantial research is unfair to the guy.

So, I spent a few weeks researching his background and social media accounts to see if there’s any truth to these rumours.

Does Brinkz Take Steroids?

There’s no conclusive evidence to suggest that Brinkz currently takes steroids.

He claims to be natty, and recently posted a YouTube video titled ‘Brinkz 10 Year Natural Transformation’.

Feel free to watch the video below.

Having analyzed Brinkz’s physique in-depth, I’ve found many features which support his natural claims, but a couple which may hint at some PED use.

Let’s take a look at these in more detail.

Reasons Which May Suggest Brinkz Is Natty

No Sign of Hair Loss

One of the most common problems with PEDs is that they may increase facial hair while decreasing head hair. Many steroid users hide this with a tightly cut hairstyle.

Looking through Brinkz’s Instagram, it’s clear to see that his head hair is still well intact and there’s no signs of baldness/hair loss, which may imply that he’s natty.

Natural Shaped Pectorals

Ironically, PEDs which boost testosterone and growth hormone have also been linked to men developing enlarged breast tissue.

It’s important to point out that enlarged breast tissue and ripped pecs aren’t the same thing – here, we’re talking about soft breast tissue in the form of fat.

While Brinkz has large pecs, there’s no evidence that he suffers from gyno or enlarged breast tissue.

Reasonable Body Fat Levels

Brinkz

One of the easiest ways to catch out a fake natty is to see how their body fat levels change when they bulk.

No matter how gifted your genetics are and how much you train, bulking up whilst maintaining a sub 10% body fat is nearly impossible.

The fact that Brinkz seems to hover around 15% body fat after a bulk suggests that he doesn’t take steroids.

He would be much leaner if he did.

Proportional Shoulders

Oversized shoulders are one of the most common signs of steroid use. The deltoids and traps in the upper back have a large number of androgen receptors.

As a result, you often see shoulders and traps that are out-of-proportion, and Brinkz doesn’t seem to suffer from this side effect.

Lack of HGH Gut

Many bodybuilders take human growth hormone (HGH) as part of their steroid cycle.

One of the side effects of this is that organs can swell up, and that pushes out the so-called HGH gut.

Looking at recent photos of Brinkz, it appears that he doesn’t suffer from HGH gut which suggests that he doesn’t take HGH.

Reasons People Believe Brinkz Takes Steroids

Extreme Vascularity

Popping veins are a solid indicator of how much muscle and how little fat you have.

But certain types of steroids will produce those vascular veins even if you’re not working out.

Looking at Brinkz’s Instagram profile, you can see that he has veins popping through multiple muscle groups, including his chest, which can be a sign of steroid use.

Evidence of Acne

In developing teenagers, acne is often caused by fluctuating hormones, like testosterone. And the same thing can happen to people who take anabolic steroids.

With steroid use, the skin change is quite sudden and noticeable and not easily hidden, especially if you’re a famous wrestler who’s on camera a lot of the time.

In a few photos of Brinkz, you can see that he does have acne, which may imply steroid use.

However, since Brinkz is still a young developing man, it could be that this is due to his hormones.

Is It Possible To Bulk Up Like Brinkz Naturally?

In my opinion, it’s possible to achieve a physique like Brinkz naturally.

While it will take a lot of time, patience, and persistence, it’s certainly achievable.

It’s clear that Brinkz eats a clean diet and trains consistently, so with the help of natural supplements and some good genetics, there’s no reason why he couldn’t have achieved his physique without steroid use.

Conclusion

In summary:

  • Brinkz has never admitted to taking steroids and claims to be a natural bodybuilder.
  • Having analyzed his physique in depth, I believe that he is indeed natty.
  • Brinkz is yet to publish any drug test results, so there’s no proof that he takes steroids (or is natty).

That’s all for Brinkz, but does Back Guy take steroids? Or is Colin Weng natty?
