For example, a study of 8 cyclists riding in warm weather showed that L-Tyrosine boosted their energy, which improved their endurance.
It’s believed that this boost in energy is due to increased dopamine activity, which improves your heat tolerance when exercising.
L-Tyrosine may be an effective mood-booster
L-Tyrosine increases dopamine, which controls pleasure and motivation.
(You know that buzzed feeling you get after a raise at work? Well you can thank dopamine for that feeling.)
Dopamine influences serotonin too, and both are believed to play an important role in mood regulation.
