It seems the best way to start any kinds of rumors is to become a social media fitness guru.
In this case, I’m talking about the Oliver Forslin steroid rumours that have been circulating on many fitness forums.
While steroid use is rampant among fitness influencers, I find that making such allegations without substantial research is unfair to the guy.
So, I spent a few weeks researching his background, social media pages, and body transformation to see if there’s any truth to these rumours.
Is Oliver Forslin Natty?
Despite denying it in the past, Oliver Forslin has recently admitted to taking steroids and therefore isn’t natty. This was in a YouTube Q&A with his girlfriend where she answered what it’s like to date someone on steroids.
In fact, in the video he said he was scared of the side effects of steroids at age 15, which may suggest that he started taking them at a young age.
He reveals in the video that he takes steroids because he wants to compete in Bodybuilding competitions.
Why Do People Think Oliver Forslin Takes Steroids?
Here are the five main reasons I’ve found that people point out when accusing Oliver of using banned substances.
Oversized shoulders are one of the most common signs of steroid use. The deltoids and traps in the upper back have a large number of androgen receptors.
As a result, you often see shoulders that are out-of-proportion, and that’s something Oliver seems to have.
People that train for a ripped body always seek those popping veins. They’re a solid indicator of how much muscle and little fat you have.
But certain types of steroids will produce those vascular veins even if you’re not working out.
Looking at Oliver Forslin’s Instagram profile, it’s clear that he’s got very noticeable prominent veins in many photos, which may suggest steroid use.
Fast Bulking Process
This is one of the easiest ways to catch out a fake natty.
No matter how gifted your genetics are and how much you train, building up muscle takes time.
To look like Oliver would take many years, possibly even decades, and the only way to significantly speed this process is through PEDs.
The fact that Oliver has managed to bulk up significantly while maintaining a low body fat hints at steroid use.
Large Breast Tissue
Ironically, anabolic steroids which increase testosterone and growth hormone have also been linked to men developing enlarged breast tissue.
It’s important to clarify that enlarged breast tissue and ripped pecs aren’t the same thing – here, we’re talking about soft breast tissue in the form of fat.
While it doesn’t look like Oliver has man boobs from recent photos, that’s not to say he hasn’t struggled with them in the past.
Skin Conditions Like Acne
In developing teenagers, acne is often caused by fluctuating hormones, like testosterone. And the same thing can happen to people who take anabolic steroids.
With steroid use, the skin change is quite sudden and noticeable and not easily hidden, especially if you’re an influencer who’s on camera a lot of the time.
Looking at photos of Oliver, it’s clear that he suffers from body and facial acne, which is a tell-tale sign of PED use.
Is It Possible To Bulk Up Like Oliver Forslin Naturally?
In my opinion, I don’t think it’s possible to achieve Oliver Forslin’s physique naturally.
(I.e. with just diet, training and natural supplements.)
While Oliver clearly trains hard and eats a clean diet, it would be nearly impossible to achieve his physique purely through good genetics, especially in the short time frame that he’s been training.
- While he’s claimed to be natty in the past, Oliver Forslin has recently admitted to taking steroids.
- Achieving Oliver’s physique purely through exercise and diet is nearly impossible.
- Oliver’s physique shows many signs of steroid use.
That’s all for Oliver Forslin, but is JPG Coaching natty? Or is Joesthetics on steroids?
