Are The Tren Twins Natty? (Do They Actually Take Tren?)

It seems the best way to start steroid rumors is to include the name of a popular anabolic steroid – Tren (short for Trenbolone) – in your pen name.

In this case, I’m talking about the Tren Twins steroid rumours that have been circulating on social media and many fitness forums.

While steroid use is rampant among fitness influencers, I find that it’s unfair to make such allegations without any substantial research.

So, I spent a few weeks researching their background, social media pages, and body transformations to see if there’s any truth to these rumours.

Are The Tren Twins Natty?

Despite denying it in the past, the Tren Twins have recently admitted to taking steroids and they therefore aren’t natty. This was on Alex Eubank’s podcast, the lion’s den, where they said they recently done a cycle of testosterone.

Do The Tren Twins Take Tren?

Ironically, despite being called the Tren Twins, they claim to have never taken tren.

They said that they would be much bigger if they did.

What Steroids Do The Tren Twins Take?

The only steroid that the Tren Twins have admitted taking is testosterone.

But despite these claims, they’ve never actually taken a drugs test to prove this.

Why Do People Think The Tren Twins Take Steroids?

Here are the four main reasons I’ve found that people point out when accusing the Tren Twins of using banned substances.

Oversized Shoulders

Oversized shoulders are one of the most common signs of steroid use. The deltoids and traps in the upper back have a large number of androgen receptors.

As a result, you often see shoulders that are out-of-proportion, and that’s something both Chris and Mike seem to have.

Extreme Vascularity

People that train for a ripped body always seek those popping veins. They’re a solid indicator of how much muscle and little fat you have.

But certain types of steroids will produce those vascular veins even if you’re not working out.

Looking at the Tren Twins’ Instagram profile, it’s clear that they’ve got very noticeable prominent veins in many photos, which may suggest steroid use.

Fast Bulking Process

This is one of the easiest ways to catch out a fake natty.

No matter how gifted your genetics are and how much you train, building up muscle takes time.

To look like the Tren Twins would take many years, possibly even decades, and the only way to significantly speed this process is through PEDs.

The fact that Chris and Mike have managed to bulk up significantly in such a short period of time hints at steroid use.

Large Breast Tissue

Ironically, anabolic steroids which increase testosterone and growth hormone have also been linked to men developing enlarged breast tissue.

It’s important to clarify that enlarged breast tissue and ripped pecs aren’t the same thing – here, we’re talking about soft breast tissue in the form of fat.

While it doesn’t look like the Tren Twins have man boobs from recent photos, that’s not to say they haven’t struggled with them in the past.

Is It Possible To Bulk Up Like The Tren Twins Naturally?

In my opinion, I don’t think it’s possible to achieve the Tren Twins’ physiques naturally.

(I.e. with just diet, training and natural supplements.)

While they both clearly train hard and eat a huge amount of calories, it would be nearly impossible to achieve their bulky physiques purely through good genetics, especially in the relatively short time frame that they’ve been training.

Conclusion: Are The Tren Twins Natural?

In summary:

  • While they’ve claimed to be natty in the past, the Tren Twins have recently admitted to taking steroids – specifically test.
  • Achieving physiques like Chris’ and Mike’s purely through exercise and diet is nearly impossible.
  • Despite being called the Tren Twins, they claim to have never taken Tren.

That’s all for the Tren Twins, but does William Li take steroids? Or does Jonathan Majors take steroids?
